The color of the natural dugout will evolve from time in the sun and the oils from your hands, getting a bit darker.

Our natural leather is acquired from Wicket & Craig (Curwensville, Pennsylvania), a world premier vegetable tannery founded in 1867.  Veg-tan is one of the oldest and most eco-friendly forms of leather tanning, accomplished by using vegetable matter to treat the hides.  It lends the leather a temporary firmness that softens beautifully over time.  These dugouts are left undyed, allowing them to age into a completely one-of-a-kind shade unique to you.
